Part of the reason I started taking photos was how much I enjoyed walking around my city, discovering new and rad places to hang out with my friends. Naturally, I had to document every adventure with my iPhone’s camera, which led to me becoming obsessed with capturing the moments and people that were important to me. I became fascinated with taking photos.

I discovered my passion for photography around the same time I fell in love with technology.

I’ve spent most of my adult life working in tech and in the creative space. While working at a local startup incubator, I learned a ton about what it takes to start and grow a business—but also how important stories are to selling a big idea. How do you get people to care about you and your company? When I watched someone deliver a compelling 5-minute pitch presentation for the first time, I got goosebumps.

I learned that business and entrepreneurship weren’t just numbers and spreadsheets. There’s a creative, story-driven side.

I started designing pitch decks for companies I made up in my mind just so I could experience that same feeling I had when I heard that first pitch. I crafted stories and created visual presentations to help drive them home. I learned through the guidance of hundreds of startup founders and business leaders in the city—many of whom became mentors and helped lead to my first paid creative projects.

I’ve worked with some of the most successful entrepreneurs, business leaders, and startup founders in San Antonio.

And I don’t ever want to stop. When you turn your passion into a profession, you’re livin’ the dream.
